Bremerton Blackberry Festival, Sat Sep 3, 10 a.m. -7 p.m., Sun Sept 4, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., Mon Sept  5, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. FREE

Hop a ferry and head to Bremerton for a weekend full of fun. Check out the Saturday car show and Fly-In at Bremerton Nat’l Airport, a Sunday chalk art contest, live entertainment, yummy food, kids’ activities and tons of blackberry deliciousness. Vintage Aircraft Weekend, Sat/Sun Sept 3/4, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Paine Field, Everett

What’s that in the sky? It’s a bird? No, it’s a plane… and lots of them. Head North to Paine Field and check out amazing vintage planes, cars and military vehicles. Then stick around for live music, food, speakers and more. $10 ages 11 to 17, free ages 10 and younger. Vintage Aircraft Weekend

Explore exhibitions at the Asian Art Museum in Volunteer Park the first Saturday of each month for free. Mood Indigo: Textiles from around the world, is the featured exhibit this Fall. Kids will enjoy the sounds that accompany this unique exhibit experience. Free First Saturdays for Families

 

Late Night Campfire Program on Jetty Island, Sat Sept 3, 7-8 p.m. Jetty Island, Everett

Enjoy one last end of summer sunset at the Jetty Island beach while listening to amazing Native American Stories around this campfire. Gooey marshmallow snacks included. You know the sounds kids make before school starts. Now discover the sounds and behaviors of animals as they prepare for fall, and take part in fun hands-on activities.
