SR520 Bridge 10K Fun Run/Walk, Sat Apr 2, 6 a.m. Husky Stadium. It's your one and only chance to cross the 520 without cars. Enjoy the view and fun activities with STEM stations spanning the bridge. Race starts at 7:30 a.m., Kids' dash at 9:45 a.m. and a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:30 a.m. SR520 Bridge Fun Run/Walk.

 

Skagit Valley Tulip Festival, Sat/Sun Apr 2 & 3. FREE. Spring showers bring the flowers, which bring…. infinite photo opportunities. Head to Mt. Autism Awareness + Sensory Day, Sat Apr 2. Museum of Flight. FREE. The museum will open early for children with autism and their families, in recognition of Autism Awareness Month. At 9 a.m. enjoy the sight of Coast Guard helicopters arriving at Boeing Field and being towed to the Museum parking lot. Autism Awareness Day. 

 

Edible Book Festival, Sat Apr 2, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Third Place Commons. FREE. Do you devour literature? Now you can. Bring an entry or just come browse this unique exhibit of savory and sweet eats inspired from titles and characters, fiction and non, then sample them after the judging. Edible Book Festival.

 

21 Acres: Kids Open House, Sat Apr 2 12-1:30 p.m. 21 Acres Center for Local Food & Sustainable Living. FREE. Explore the farm-to-table path with a day of farm-igami, flower crafts and recipe testing. Farm Open House. 

 

Julia Robinson Mathematics Festival, Sun Apr 3, 1-5 p.m. University of Washington HUB.   Celebrate numbers with a day of math activities and ideas led by mathematicians, teachers, engineers, programmers and more. For kids 4-10 years old. $10-15. Math Festival
