It’s the first Northwest Bubble Gathering in Seattle this Saturday at Gas Works Park. Come join a "Congregation of Bubblemancers" as they cast off enormous soap bubbles throughout the weekend. BYO friends, family, and your own bubble stuff, and join the fun.

Seward Park Audubon Center
Join Naturalist Ed Dominguez on a trek through the forest to find migratory birds that travel thousands of miles from breeding grounds in North America to wintering grounds in Mexico, Central and South America or the Caribbean islands. Dress for the weather, binoculars are provided. Ages 10 and older. $5.

Woodland Creek Community Park
Head to Woodland Creek Community Park for a day of casting and reeling. Kids ages 5 to 14 will learn how to fish and then take home their very own rod and reel. $5. Space is limited, please pre-register required.

What happens when the teacher of a class of misbehaved children goes missing and scary substitute comes in? Come and see whether these mischievous kids learn some well-deserved lessons about kindness and respect. Part of the Theater for Young Audiences series, the show runs weekends through Apr. 27. $12.

Washington Park Arboretum
What happens in the park after the sun sets? Join a night hike through Washington Park Arboretum and discover the crepuscular and nocturnal movements in the forest. Then finish the evening with a little star gazing in the UW Mobile Planetarium. $15 first child, $5 each additional child, free for adults accompanied by children.

BYO skates or borrow some there and get ready to go round & round the rink during a fun evening of skating. Great for new or veteran skaters, all ages are welcome (kids under 18 need parent permission). Hosted by PFM Roller Derby, the event is free, but donations are graciously accepted.
