Family Classics Book Club: A Christmas Carol

Read this wonderful classic in advance, or simply come listen to a short picture-book version of this classic story of Ebenezer Scrooge a the Sammamish Library. Then stay and discuss the author, character and themes from the story. Great for ages 8 and older and adults.

 

Kindiependent Kids Rock Series

Each week the Kindiependent Kids Rock Series brings awesome kid-friendly performers to Mount Baker Community Club.  Join the upbeat, original Harmonica Pocket and dance away the morning! $5.

 

Teen Dungeons & Dragons Club

Ballard Branch of SPL. FREE

Curious about Dungeons and Dragons? Head to the Ballard Library this Saturday for a fun, educational afternoon. No experience or supplies are required. If you are new to the group, come at noon for Character Creation. Snacks provided. Great for 6th-12th grades/

 

Rapunzel: A British Pantomime

Knutzen Family Theatre

Come watch a fun, non-traditional take on that classic story about ‘The girl in the tower with super long hair’ as it comes to life on stage in true British Pantomime fashion. Audience participation highly encouraged. $35, $30 seniors/military, $15 ages 18 to 23, $12 ages 17 and younger.

 

Holiday Hoot

Seward Park Audubon Center

It’s the Audubon Center's final event of the year! Come celebrate resident owls, learn all about these nocturnal raptors, then head into the forest to seek out their usual haunts and gather fresh owl pellets. Great for ages 10 and older. $20.

 

Spirit of Kwanzaa Drum and Dance-a-Thon
Sun Dec 23 1-4 p.m.
Beer Sheva Park. FREE

Come to Beer Sheva Park and celebrate family and culture, and experience the 7 principles of Kwanzaa through dancing, drumming, art, and community this season.
