Vashon Sheepdog Classic
7 a.m.-5 p.m. Sat/Sun, June 8-9
Misty Isle Farms, Vashon
Come see highly trained sheepdogs and their handlers compete in incredible herding trials. Then watch the crafts and fiber arts demonstrations and enjoy some food (cash only). $15, free ages 10 and younger. Pre-purchase recommended. Shuttle available from the north and south end ferries.
Evergreen Mountain Bike Festival
9 a.m.-5 p.m., Sat/Sun, June 8/9
Duthie Hill Park, Issaquah Plateau. FREE
BYO bike and try out the amazing trail rides then watch demonstrations, explore vendors, take part in clinics and kids’ activities, eat food and more. No fee to ride the trails or visit the venue during the festival, but fees are charged for bike demos and organized events. Kids 10 and younger are free for activities and rides.
Lake to Lake Bike Ride
9 a.m.-noon Sat, June 8
Lake Hills Community Park, Bellevue
Bring the whole family for this non-competitive bike ride with two routes (a 9-mile flat route, or a more challenging 22-mile route). Kids ages 9 and older may ride alone. Kids ages 8 and younger must be on a tandem bike with an adult. $15-20. Pre-register.
Marysville Strawberry Festival

Asbery Field, Marysville. FREE
Celebrate summer and everything strawberry at this fun festival complete with cars, motorcycles, a carnival, arts and crafts, a kid parade, a Grand Parade, a fashion show and, of course, strawberry shortcake. Saturday is Kids' Day, when ​"The Zaniac" Alex Zerbe will perform (11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.).

Head to Georgetown for a day of delicious food, live entertainment, crazy carnival games, power-tool races, interactive art, marching bands and more.

This fun, family-friendly movie mixes manic comedy with Harriet the Spy detective skills. Come watch a hapless young soccer team try to not only win a game, but also solve a mystery to avoid their team’s disbanding. Part of the SIFF Films4Families series. $8.
