Get outside with your preschooler and explore the UW Botanic Gardens using all five senses. Learning stations help children practice fine motor skills, sensory investigation, creativity, and pre-math and literacy skills. Then join an open circle and hike where the group will play games, listen to a story and further explore the weekly theme. $19/ 1st child and caregiver. $9.50 for each additional child. The third Saturday of each month, The Grand Cinema welcomes guests of all ages to a free, family-friendly movie! Volunteer Park Conservatory
The Holiday Express Train and Poinsettia Display are set up in the Volunteer Park Conservatory’s Seasonal House! Come get in the seasonal spirit and watch the train's winding journey through the poinsettias and around the winter vintage display. The Express train will be open for viewing during regular Conservatory hours, Tuesday through Sunday, through Jan 5. Adults $4, youth (13-17) $2; ages 12 and younger are free.
