Swansons Nursery Holiday Fun

Nov 20-21 9 – 6 a.m. FREE

Come enjoy Holiday Magic at Swansons Nursery this weekend through Dec 25. Families can watch the famous model train, admire the holiday decor, or shop for Christmas trees and gifts. There is also a self-guided Holiday Adventure Tour. By appointment only.  Please wear a mask and practice social distancing.


The Polar Express Train Rides

Nov 20-21 3 p.m. Tickets start at $38 per person, 2 and younger are free.

All Aboard this magical train ride to the North Pole! Come listen to a reading of the “The Polar Express.” Enjoy hot cocoa, and chat with Santa when he drops by to visit. The Chehalis-Centralia Railroad invites friends and family to make reservations for holiday rides through Dec 20th. Fridays at 5 and 7 pm and Saturdays and Sundays at 3, 5, and 7p.m. Limited capacity and social distancing with masks is required.


Seattle Center Festal: Indigenous People Festival (Virtual)

Sat, Nov 21 1-5 p.m. FREE

This event seeks to instill better understanding of American Indian and Alaska Native tribes in the Pacific Northwest. The whole family will love blend of traditional and contemporary music, dance, drama and arts as Native people celebrate their culture and share indigenous knowledge.  Be sure to check out the 1 p.m. Black Lives Matter: Black and Native Solidarity Panel and 3 p.m. Indigenous Creatives: Native Podcasters Panel


Nutcracker Master Classes with Emerald Ballet Theatre: Mouse Queen/King (Virtual)

Sat Nov 21. 4-4:45 p.m. FREE

Dancers will love this opportunity to expand their repertoire by learning the part of the Mouse Queen/King in the beloved holiday ballet, “The Nutcracker.” Please pre-register to receive the Zoom link.


Woodland Park Zoo Wild Lanterns

Sat/Sun Nov 20/21, 4-8:30 p.m. $28.95 for Adults (Ages 13+), $23.95 for Children (Ages 3-12),

Toddlers (Ages 2 and younger) are free

Come stroll through the Living Northwest exhibit with lanterns of animals. Then march through the magical Jungle Lights exhibit and dive into the depths of the SeaMazium exhibit.Finish with a safari in the African Savanna exhibit. Purchase tickets for a specific entrance time. Please avoid arriving more than 5 minutes early. Face coverings required for entry and during the duration of your visit.
