Experience this unique holiday tradition that has been going on in Snoqualmie for over 50 years. For four weekends, starting November 28, families can take a holiday train excursion aboard Santa Train to visit Santa Claus at the historic Snoqualmie Depot. Children and their families will enjoy music, fresh-baked cookies from coal-fired ovens, hot cocoa and fresh coffee, and a small gift for each child. Various departure times throughout the day. Fairmont Olympic is celebrating the holidays a little differently this year. They have transformed their annual in-person holiday Festival of Trees into a display of trees inside the hotel windows viewable from the sidewalk along 4th Avenue. The decorated trees will honor the heroic young patients from Seattle Children’s Hospital. In addition, one of the windows will display a miniature Gingerbread Olympic House.
