Seafair Milk Carton Derby, Sat July 16, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. SW shore of Green Lake near Aqua Theater. FREE. Over 100 (sort-of) seaworthy vessels will be launched on Saturday. Free Skateboarding Lesson, Sat July 16, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Seattle Center Skate Park or Ballard Commons Skatepark. FREE. BYO board or borrow one there. Skate Like a Girl volunteers will be on hand at two locations this Saturday to help kids ages 12 and younger learn the basics of skateboarding. Some helmets and pads will be available to borrow too.
