‘Tis the season for festive music, dance workshops, crafts and family activities. Find it all at MOHAI, The Center for Wooden Boats and the Historic Ships Wharf this Saturday!

 

Holiday Carousel Sat Nov 25, 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Westlake Park

Take a spin or two or three on the wonderful Holiday Carousel upon its return to Westlake Park. Great for all ages and proceeds benefit the work of Treehouse, providing foster kids a childhood and a future. Suggested donation of $3. 

 

‘Twas the Night Sat Nov 25, 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Studio East, Kirkland

Loosely based on the famous holiday poem, this family musical comedy is perfect for ages 4 and older. Show runs weekends through Dec 17. $18.

 

A(n Improvised) Christmas Carol Sat Nov 25, 8:30 p.m. Market Theater

Looking for laughs? Improvisers from Unexpected Productions use audience suggestions to re-tell this Charles Dickens’ classic Christmas tale. Great for all ages. Show runs various dates and times through Dec. 24. $12 to $15.

 

Lego Mania Sun Nov 26, 1-4 p.m. Capitol Hill Branch

Get out of the cold and create amazing things during a fun afternoon at the Capitol Hill branch of the Seattle Public Library. Lego bricks provided. Great for all ages.

 

Ballard Free Sunday Movie presents Queen of Katwe Sun Nov 26, 2-4 p.m. Ballard Branch

Queen of Katwe, rated PG and directed by Mira Nair, is the inspirational movie of choice this Sunday at the Ballard branch of the Seattle Public Library. All ages welcome. Event is free and popcorn is provided.
