Green Seattle Day Sat, Nov 4 FREE
Bring the family and join hundreds of volunteers in 22 parks all over Seattle this Saturday to plant trees. Tools, gloves, plants, coffee, snacks, and instruction will be provided. Meet at the hub site (Jefferson Community Center) at 9 a.m. or sign-up for a slot online at one of the other parks. Lunch served at the hub site at noon. Be sure to dress for the weather.
Lewis Creek Ranger-Led Hike Sat Nov 4, 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. Lewis Creek Visitor Center. FREE
Fabulous park rangers will guide the approx. 1 mile easy-to-moderate hike as you explore the natural and cultural history of Lewis Creek Park. Be on the lookout for local wildlife and learn what to do when encountering animals in the wild. All ages are welcome. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy walking shoes.

Head to the Swedish Club the first Sunday of every month for authentic Swedish pancakes, great friends, lively music and folk dancing! $9, $5 ages 5 to 12, free ages 4 and younger.
