Fall Festival Sat Oct. 14, 10 a.m.-4p.m. Swanson’s Nursery. FREE

Try a tractor ride, compete in veggie car races, run through the straw maze, play games, and create with arts & crafts. Entrance is free, tickets for activities available at the door. Great for all ages.

 

Teddy Bear Clinic Sat Oct, 14, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. KidsQuest Museum

BYO favorite stuffed animal for their annual physical where they will get their eyes, ears, weight, and more checked by real doctors and nurses. It’s a great opportunity for kids to understand what happens when you visit the doctor and there’s even a mini-hospital to take care of minor stuffy injuries! Event included with admission, $12, $11 seniors, free under 1 year old.

 

African Drumming, Dance, and Song Day Sat Oct. 14, 11 a.m.-1p.m. Magnuson Community Center

Join Kouyate Arts for an interactive West African dance and music workshop at the Magnuson Community Center. BYO drum or use one provided.

 

Halloween Family Magic Show at the Seattle Center Sat Oct. 14, 1 & 3 p.m. Center House Theater

Be amazed as Magician Raymond performs comedy magic, spooky stage illusions, and reads minds.  Lots of audience participation needed! And after the show all the kids will learn a magic trick they can perform at home.

 

Maple Viewing Festival Sat Oct. 14 and Sun Oct. 15, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Seattle Japanese Garden

Enjoy a day of nature-inspired craft making, a maple tree scavenger hunt, live performances, and family-friendly cultural activities. Be sure to take part in a traditional tea ceremony ($10) at 1 and 2 p.m. on October 14. $6, $4 students, seniors and ages 6 to 17, free ages 5 and younger.

 

LegoMania Sun Oct. 15, 1:30-3:30 p.m. Montlake Branch Seattle Public Library. FREE

Create and build with loads of Lego bricks at the Montlake Branch of the Seattle Public Library. Your imagination is the limit! Great for all ages.
