Evergreen City Ballet Only Studio in Region to Offer Angelina Ballerina Dance Classes

The Evergreen City Ballet in Renton is the only Puget Sound area dance studio, and one of only a handful nationwide, to offer Angelina Ballerina Dance classes. The program makes its debut the first week in January, and registration is now open. In addition to the Renton classes, they will also hold Angelina Ballerina classes at Adventure Kids Playcare in Bellevue.

The dance classes are for children ages 3 to 6 years old and incorporate the popular TV series character, Angelina Ballerina. A program out of the United Kingdom, the classes are taught by specialist instructors who introduce children to the world of dance and performance through the fun and endearing stories and music.

The classes teach pre-ballet and creative movement and lay the foundation for correct and age-appropriate dance technique. They also promote confidence, creativity and physical health; an appreciation of the arts; teamwork in a group setting; and a love for learning through reading, dancing, music and imaginative play.
