There’s a treasure trove of high-quality, educational toys on the Eastside that will both entertain the kids and support programming at KidsQuest Children’s Museum. Win-win! ExploreStore is an extension of the museum’s educational mission, which means all of their toys are focused on learning through play.
“We carry only products that you can’t find in big-box retail stores, that have excellent play value, toys that kids will return to play with again and again,” said ExploreStore manager Alison Luk. “We love sourcing new products that help kids build important skills like problem solving, fine motor skills, scientific thinking and literacy, all while playing. Our staff is great at helping families find the perfect birthday present, baby gift, construction set, science experiment or craft supplies to get them playing!”

KidsQuest Children’s Museum’s focus on STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) means the ExploreStore carries items featured in their exhibits, so families can take home the fun and learning long after their day at the museum is over. Museum members get 10 percent off in the store, while supporting exhibits, activities and educational programs offered by the museum.
ExploreStore and KidsQuest Children’s Museum offer loads of educational activities for kids from birth to 8 years old, and their families. Their full calendar of workshops, camps and events can be found on at kidsquestmuseum.org with special Parents’ Night Out and near-daily storytimes.
Currently in Factoria, the ExploreStore and KidsQuest Children’s Museum will relocate to a larger space in downtown Bellevue in January 2017.
