Do you have a kid or crew that loves bubbles? Boy, does The Landing shopping center in Renton, have an event for you: Bubble Maniacs.
The title pretty much sums it up. Expect a whole lot of bubbles during this afternoon of interactive family play. What form of bubbles, you ask. Good question. And the answer is bubbles in every from bubble play stations to a giant “foam zone” where you can expect to be covered head to toe in the soapy stuff for free.
“Bubble Maniacs has become a signature summer event since we first introduced it in 2023 and we’re thrilled to bring it back,” said Alixandria Ogawa, speaking for Vestar, which owns The Landing. “This year, we’re especially excited to introduce a sensory-friendly hour for the first time, creating a more inclusive experience where even more families can feel comfortable participating.”
Vestar rolled out Bubble Maniacs in Renton and at it’s other properties in other states after seeing how successful it was at two Arizona sites. Last year, about 400 people moved through the foam and frolic with other bubble activities at The Landing event.

When: Saturday, Aug. 22, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A sensory-friendly hour will be held from 10 to 11:00 a.m. before the main event.
