Families seek out community-based Thanksgiving dinners because they need a safe place for their family to gather for a meal, because they’re looking to enjoy the holiday with others in the community, because the cost of preparing the meal is a difficult stretch or all of the above. These meals are offered on Thanksgiving day, usually, or the following day.

Community Lunch will be served on Thanksgiving day as they do every M-F at Noon. It will be a delicious thanksgiving meal for everyone.

This Thanksgiving, for the 21st year in a row, Eastridge Church will giveaway 1,500 turkeys and bags of groceries to those in the community who need a little help to put a holiday meal on their table. On Saturday, November 23, beginning at 9 a.m. (while supplies last) the church will give away the 1,500 free Thanksgiving turkeys and bags of groceries to people in need at their two locations: Issaquah and Seattle. First come, first served, with no demonstration of need required to receive the assistance.

Westgate Chapel Thanksgiving Dinner
Free Family Thanksgiving Dinner with all the trimmings! They feed approximately 1200 people and volunteers with a beautiful “sit down” dinner complete with all the holiday trimmings. Everyone is invited free of charge. They will have a guest entertainer, lots of extra free activities, and family photos. There will be three dinner seating times, and the dining room is filled on a first-come, first serve basis. Seatings are at 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. There are no reservations.

South of Seattle
Eloise’s Cooking Pot Food Bank will have its 2024 annual Thanksgiving giveaway. All the traditional Thanksgiving sides and turkey, too, will be available on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, during the food bank’s free grocery drive-thru event. The drive-thru service happens at the Tacoma Dome, Parking Lot G, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Nothing is required to use the drive-thru service—just be in line by 2:45 p.m. and have your vehicle open to receive your food.
