Can you think of a more lovely-sounding event than the International Children’s Friendship Festival? Neither can we. It’s happening 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Seattle Center’s Fisher Pavilion, and it’s where kids can see cultural displays, participate in crafts and activities, and watch ethnic music, singing and dancing performances by local kids’ groups.
Find out how raccoons, possums and other wildlife have adapted to less-than-wild surroundings during a ranger program called Outfoxed! It takes place at 2 p.m. at Bellevue’s Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center. You’ll also get tips on how to coexist with critters and help them live more natural, healthy lives.
