If your four and five-year-olds can't stop asking for a pet—and you're getting tired putting your foot down—head to the Community Room at Bellevue's Crossroads Mall. From 10-11 am today the Seattle Humane Society hosts a story and craft time complete with adoptable shelter pets. $10 per child, preregister before you go.
This evening in Bellevue, Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center is taking a family night walk from 7 to 9 pm. Preregister for the $15 event, which will explore "the tricks nocturnal creatures use to survive at night" and include a call to owls under the stars.
Back in Seattle, check out Goodnight Moon live at Seattle Children's Theatre. Or, stay in tonight and opt for a free family popcorn and movie night in your living room.
