‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’ tickets now on sale in Seattle

Award-winning play comes to Seattle for three weeks

Are kids, or their millennial parents, more excited for this show? Hard to say …

Individual tickets for the Seattle premiere of “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” are officially on sale. The six-time Tony Award-winning play will make a limited three-week stop at the Paramount Theatre from August 22 through Sept. 12.

Tickets are available through Seattle Theatre Group, Ticketmaster, and the Paramount Theatre box office.

Based on the original story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne, and John Tiffany, the play picks up where the Harry Potter books left off. Harry is now an overworked Ministry of Magic employee, husband, and father, while his son, Albus, struggles with the weight of the Potter family legacy.

The production has become known for its elaborate stagecraft, illusions, and magical effects — and was originally staged as a two-part production. The touring version has since been reimagined as a single performance, making it easier for audiences to experience the story in one visit.

The Seattle run is the first show of the 2026–27 Broadway at The Paramount season, and is the first time the production has visited the Pacific Northwest.

Performances are scheduled Tuesdays through Thursdays at 7:30 p.m., Saturdays at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., and Sundays at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. An additional matinee performance will be offered on Friday, Sept. 11, at 1:30 p.m.
