Kid-made gifts are the best! Holiday gift-making workshops around Seattle


When it comes to presents for parents, grandparents, or other loved ones, it is hard to beat items handmade by kids. They’re fun, they’re satisfying for the kids, and the best of them will spark joy for the recipients for years. When the kids are grown and this year’s hot gadgets are obsolete, adults may still feel an attachment to that ceramic trivet or that goofy Christmas tree ornament.

Buy Nothing Day: Gift Making Workshop

Seattle Public Library Central Library, 1000 4th Ave.

In honor of Buy-Nothing Day, come to the Central Branch of the Seattle Public Library for a free workshop to make hot cocoa mix, a calming fall "tea bath", and fall leaf wreaths.
