Seattleites celebrate PARK(ing) day in style.

PARK(ing) day 2015 is an opportunity for Seattleites to temporarily turn street parking spaces into public places. The event turns metered parking spaces into pop-up parks; Last year's event attendees played life-size Jenga in Pioneer Square.

This international event hopes to raise awareness about the importance of a walkable, livable, healthy city, encouraging folks to reimagine what a city space can be.

PARK(ing) day 2015 is free and open to the public and runs from 10 am to 7 pm at various locations around Seattle.
