Seattle Humane seeks foster parents for kittens

Does your family love kittens? Seattle Humane is looking for foster parents to provide temporary care for kittens needing more time to grow.

Does your family love kittens? Seattle Humane is looking for foster parents to provide temporary care for kittens needing more time to grow – from bottle-fed newborns to their frisky toddler equivalents.

Time commitments can range from one to eight weeks. All supplies are provided by the shelter – all you need is a lot of love and a bit of extra room. And, while foster volunteers need to be 18, kids are encouraged to help their parents care for foster pets.

To get started, sign up to attend a volunteer orientation at Seattle Humane; the next two are scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 23 at 2:30 p.m. and Tuesday, Oct. 14 at 6 p.m. To learn more about the program, visit www.seattlehumane.org/volunteer.
