If you’re looking for a fun family activity for summer, consider visiting a lavender farm. Many farms offer activities for kids and parents alike, such as u-cut lavender, yard games, a free arcade, farm animals, picnic areas, and homemade lavender products from lotions to lemonade. Not only is this an enjoyable outing, but the natural aromatherapy of strolling through fields of bright purple, pink, and white blooms is relaxing as well. Farms also host lavender festivals, celebrating the fragrant season from July through August.
