Hillman City Collaboratory hosts SPL storyteller, nanny, mom and Kent School District interpreter (how does this woman sleep?) Tia Maria Gomaz at 10:00 am today. The $5 session includes plenty of stories in Spanish for native speakers and kids who want to learn the language.

"Curmudgeonly ogre" Shrek is on the big screen at Central Cinema tonight. Take them in their pjs and slide into comfy seats for the free 7 pm screening. And if you don't have time to cook food and drinks are served seatside.
