Spring break fun: Movin' Around the World at Seattle Center

 

 

This spring break, take a round-the-world tour without leaving the county when you check out Movin' Around the World: Spring, a weeklong cultural celebration at Seattle Center.

Presented by Northwest Folklife and Seattle Center, the event invites youth and families to experience the a variety of cultures through song, dance, play and celebration.

Events will include live performances and hands-on activities highlighting regions including India, the Balkans and West Africa.

The fun runs from 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. daily, Saturday (April 6) through Friday (April 12), at the Seattle Center Armory. Attend one or all days! There is a suggested donation of $5 per person. More details on activities and participants here.
