What: Art on the Ave Street Fair
When: Sunday, August 9 from noon to 7:00 p.m.
Cost: Free
Location: 6th Ave between Alder and State Streets in Tacoma.
Ages: All ages
Featuring: 200 local artists, makers, kids zone, independent vendors, live music performances across multiple stages, food trucks and interactive art installations
Parking: Parking is limited. Organizers suggest parking several blocks from the festival and walking in.
Bus it: Pierce Transit Route 1 (6th Ave – Pacific Ave) directly serves festival corridor along 6th Avenue. It runs approximately every 30 minutes between 6:25 a.m. and 9:42 p.m.
