Kieanna Davis and Miguel Garcia, Spokane Valley
Despite the weight of a traumatic past, this family has shown incredible perseverance.
After a challenging start in life, this family moved out of state to Spokane to give their daughters a brighter and better future. Thus creating a loving and supportive environment, including adjusting to life raising their special needs daughter. Both parents are currently pursuing their college education and are also committed to building a community where they now live, fostering connections and supporting others along the way.
Throughout their journey, they remain unwavering pillars for both their daughters. Particularly advocating for their special needs daughter to ensure she receives the care, attention, and opportunities she deserves. Even during some difficult times, including recent losses in the family, their resilience shines through. They continue to support and uplift others ā asking for help when needed, but always willing to offer support in return.
Their dedication to their family and to helping other families facing similar challenges is truly inspiring.
