Top Brunch Options for Mother's Day

Mother's Day is fast approaching; it's time to celebrate all the wonderful moms in your life (hey moms, this means you, too!). Here are a few great brunch options around Seattle where Mom can be spoiled and the kids will feel right at home. If you don't have reservations yet, call or go online now!



This Tom Douglas standout is a great place to have brunch just down from Pike Place Market, with a menu including traditional breakfast entrees, seafood and more.  2020 Western Ave., Seattle.



This Magnolia neighborhood restaurant is already a classic spot for brunch. They'll serve it both Saturday and Sunday this weekend, 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Saturday, and 9 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Sunday. Maria Hines' award-winning restaurant, located in a beautiful Craftsman house in Wallingford, will serve a three-course prix-fixe brunch menu. 1411 N. 45th St., Seattle. 206-633-0801


Six Seven Restaurant and Lounge

Dunbar Room at the Hotel Sorrento

Celebrate Mom with a brunch buffet at the historic Hotel Sorrento. The bright but cozy space is reminiscent of a Parisian train-station bistro or midtown Manhattan cafe, and the Italian-inspired menu features fresh Northwest seafood and locally raised meats.  $70 per person. 9 a.m.-3 p.m., 900 Madison St., Seattle. 206-622-6400


Ray’s Boathouse and Cafe

Spoil mom with delicious, fresh seafood and stunning waterfront views this Mother’s Day. The cafe buffet (seating from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.) will feature a variety of fresh salads, sweet and savory breakfast foods, a carving station, shellfish bar, desserts and more. $65 per person ($32.50 for kids) for brunch, juice and sodas (prices exclude tax and gratuity). The Georgian

The beautiful Georgian Room inside the Fairmont Olympic Hotel will serve Mother's Day breakfast from 7-11 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday and afternoon tea (plus Champagne!) from 12:15-3:15 p.m. both days.  Tea is $85 for adults (including $50 gift card to Penelope & The Beauty Bar), $40 kids 3-12 years  (plus tax and gratuity). Call 206-621-7889 for reservations.  411 University St., Seattle. 


Goldfinch Tavern

The celebration here inside the Four Seasons hotel features Moet & Chandon Champagne and live music, an appetizer buffet, choice of six entrees and a dessert bar.  Reservations are required by calling 206-749-7070. $95 for adults, $35 for kids 12 and under (tax and service charge additional), 10 am-3 pm. 99 Union St., Seattle.
