Fundraising luncheons for two essential local nonprofits are coming up: Vision House, which provides transitional housing for homeless single mothers and their children, and the Pediatric Interim Care Center, which brings babies safely through withdrawal from drugs in its newborn nursery.
Vision House will host the “NoHomelessKids Lunch 2011” on Wednesday, May 18, from noon to 1 p.m. at the Bellevue Hilton Hotel (300 112th Ave. S.E.). The Pediatric Interim Care Center’s 20th anniversary luncheon will be held on Friday, May 20, at the ShoWare Center in Kent (625 W. James St.), beginning at 11:30 a.m. Celebrity guest speaker Jodie Sweetin, Stephanie on the long-running sitcom Full House, will tell her story, and Seattle television personality, Margo Myers, will host.
