Looking for a cheap way to get the kids outdoors and exploring? Have them become amateur photographers! From now through Sept. 3, UW Botanic Gardens is holding a Kid’s Digital Photo Contest open to young people ages 4 through 16.
The contest categories include colors, landscapes, animals, exploring and buildings. All photos must be taken on UW Botanic Gardens property, located at the Washington Park Arboretum or Center for Urban Horticulture in Seattle. For more details on the contest, visit the UW Botanic Gardens website.
