Your kids can take their cookie-baking to the next level, just in time for Valentine’s Day, with classes from PCC Natural Markets.
In either online or in-person classes, kids will bake along with Cam Zarcone as they make Chocolate and Vanilla Swirled Shortbread Hearts and Heart Thumbprint Cookies. (Plus vanilla frosting for decorating!)

About the classes: The cookie session is designed for kids ages 8 to 12. The in-person classes are hands-on and taught in a PCC classroom. Proof of vaccination required for entry, and participants will be required to wear masks. The cookies will be packed up to take home.
The online classes are cook-along, offered live via zoom. One spot in class is good for one kitchen; some kids may need a parent’s help. Details will be emailed before the class, and afterward, participants will have access to a recording of the session. Parental assistance or supervision may be needed for younger students. A recording will be sent after class to all registered students.
About the teacher: Zarcone is an award-winning journalist who switched to cooking and teaching. She received culinary training from Cambridge School of Culinary Arts in Massachusetts. She works at PCC and teaches in the Edmonds School District.
