Washi tape frames make movable art

Isn’t your child’s artwork always frame-worthy?

Isn’t your child’s artwork always frame-worthy? Washi tape frames are a creative, budget-friendly solution that will allow your tiny Picasso’s masterpieces to be displayed for a fraction of the price and twice the fun. Washi tape is repositionable, restickable Japanese masking tape made of rice paper. The tape is delicate enough for walls and won’t peel paint.

The process is easy! Attach the drawing of your choice onto the wall using folded pieces of washi tape, then create a decorative frame around the artwork in any pattern you wish. Experiment with the endless combinations of patterns, colors and sizes in which washi tape is available. Even better, enlist your kiddos to help with the project. After you’ve placed a few pretty pictures, you’ll have the start of the perfect gallery wall — a must for any sophisticated interior.

Find washi tape at your local craft or stationery store.
