Wear a onesie to WildLights and get in for half-price on Dec. 30

Here's a fun idea:

Take your matching holiday family PJs out in public for "Onesie Night" at Woodland Park Zoo's WildLights. Or as the zoo says, "Have funsie in your onesie!"

Wear a onesie to the evening light exhibit on Monday, Dec. 30 and get in for half price. (Those in standard clothing can still get a $1 discount.)

WildLights features more than 800,000 energy-efficient LED lights recreating wild animals and wild places across the zoo, plus night rides on the lighted historic carousel and the popular indoor Snowmazium with faux snow.

(Note: Visiting WildLights is generally not about seeing the animals, although certain "ambassador animals" will make appearances and select indoor exhibits will be open to explore.)

WildLights details:

Hours: 5:30-8:30 p.m. nightly through Jan. 5 (except Dec. 24-25)
Getting there: Enter WildLights through the zoo's west and south entrances. Parking is free after 3:30 p.m.
Admission: $16.95 adults, $12.95 children. (Members receive 20% discount.) Tickets can be purchased online in advance; however, no refunds given in the event of rain (the show goes on!). It also does sell out sometimes.
