Help the Easter Bunny with a scavenger hunt ... Celebrate Oxbow's birds ...

Marysville Great Egg Hunt
March 27 and 28
Spring is in the air and the Easter Bunny has lost his eggs! Help him find them throughout Marysville in this community scavenger hunt. Participants will be emailed instructions and clues and can complete the hunt in a few hours or over a two-week period. Once complete, participants email their photos to be entered into a prize drawing. Entry is $5 per family. Winners will be announced April 7. Please contact akingsford@marysvillewa.gov if you have questions.

Birds of Oxbow

Come celebrate feathered friends and springtime flora at Oxbow this weekend. The event is free, but please pre-register at EventBrite for a day of Birding tours with one of Oxbow’s resident bird experts, farm fresh meals (tickets available for purchase), trail walks, kids’ activities and a farm stand. There will also be native plants available for sale so you can help build healthy habitats for birds in your own yard or garden.

Hop around Auburn’s parks and trails this weekend in search of the elusive bunny, who’ll be hidden in various locations around Auburn. Find the bunny for a chance to win prizes and have a hippity-hoppity time doing it! This will be a fun and safe event for families, seniors, the Specialized Recreation Community or anyone looking for an opportunity to get outside and get active in an outdoor setting. Art Class: Abstract Art Inspired by Hilma af Klint (Virtual)

Nordic Museum

Celebrate Women’s History Month with a project inspired by Swedish artist Hilma af Klint. She is well known for her bold and colorful work. This free video will be posted on the Nordic Museum’s YouTube channel this weekend, at 10 a.m. on Saturday. You will need paper, something to draw with (such as pens, colored pencils, pastels, watercolors, etc.), circular objects to trace (such as mugs or cups) and a ruler. Great for all ages.

KCLS Online Program: Cook & Chat for Teens: Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies (Virtual)
March 27, 2:30 p.m.
Kids 10 and older will love this event. Join the amazing teen volunteers for a baking class and learn how to make peanut butter kiss cookies this Saturday. See the link for registration and a supply list. Be sure to have your supplies ready when you log on.
