Hi-Liners Musical Theatre presents ā€˜Emma: A Pop Musicalā€™ (Virtual)
Feb. 13 and 14
Come catch an encore presentation ofĀ ā€Emma: A Pop Musicalā€Ā by Hi-Liners Musical Theatre. This is a fundraiser for HMT, so instead of buying tickets, you can make a donation in any amount. Every dollar will go to help protect the future of the theater. High school senior Emma is determined to find the perfect boyfriend for her shy sophomore friend Harriet by the end of the school year. Based on Jane Austen’s classic novel, this new musical features hit songs by legendary and iconic singers like The Supremes, Sara Bareilles, Natasha Bedingfield, Katy Perry and more. The stream will be available for unlimited viewing through Monday, Feb. 15.

Auburn Parkā€™s Love to Move 5K (Virtual)

We L-O-V-E to move, so here’s another opportunity to get you moving! Confirm your attendance in Auburn’s ‘LOVE TO MOVE virtual 5K’ by clicking ‘going’ on the website. During a time that is convenient to you through Feb. 15, walk/run/hike/bike a 5K (3.1 miles). Children, pets and significant others are welcome and encouraged to join you! Post your finisher’s photo(s) and/or route screenshot within this event or send to events@auburnwa.gov by 12 p.m. on 2/16/2021 to be entered into random drawings. Please remember to follow social distancing guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Fall in love with your neighborhood this Valentineā€™s Day. Come explore South Lake Unionā€™s top attractions and businesses and get the chance to win a HUGE prize ā€“ no purchases necessary. Just create a team of two to five people within your household or bubble, grab your mask and download the Letā€™s Roam app to play! The hunt should take two to three hours to complete, will cover 3 miles, and will be live starting at 8 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 12, and ending Sunday, Feb. 14, at 11:59 p.m. The top team gets the first pick at the prize packages. Edible Book Festival (Virtual)

Join the Edible Book Festival, a lighthearted culinary, artistic, and literary celebration. All creations must be made from food and inspired by works of literature. (Past entries have included works titled Gourd of the Rings, War and Peas and The Life of Pie.) Itā€™s the most wonderful and delicious nerd parade imaginable. Kid categories include: Most Punderful, Most Book-like, Most Visually Appealing, Judges Choice and Peopleā€™s Choice. Registration opens on Feb. 11, and closes on March 26. Start cooking!
