Seabrook has long been one of Washington families’ favorite beach escapes, and if you nabbed a coveted summer reservation (and paid the hefty price), you’ll find quite a bit that’s new.
The coastal town has added multiple new businesses and experiences ahead of its busy season, like family-friendly dining options, kid-focused shopping, and new outdoor activities.
- Among the biggest additions is an upcoming escape room (details TBD), giving families a rainy-day option. Pacific Edge Adventures is also expanding programming with new camps and activities, like surf, skimboarding, biking, and outdoor adventure experiences geared toward kids.
- Fernwood Station, Seabrook’s growing neighborhood hub, is welcoming two new food trucks this summer: Bigfoot Waffles, opening Father’s Day weekend with Belgian sugar waffles and sweet treats, and Ember, serving Asian-inspired dishes cooked over an open flame.
- Families with younger kids may also want to stop by Sprig & Swell, a new children’s boutique featuring apparel, rain gear, footwear, and gifts designed for PNW adventures.
- Elsewhere in town, Koko’s Restaurant and Tequila Bar has opened a new ocean-view location, while Seabrook’s lineup of summer traditions returns with Saturday Markets, free Friday night concerts, outdoor movies, and Founders’ Day festivities.
If you’re heading to the coast this summer, it may be worth building in a little extra time to explore what’s new.
