Young people honor MLK in their own way Jan. 19 in Seattle

 

Hear young people express what Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s life and work means to them through song, dance and spoken-word performances.

This family-friendly, youth-organized event held the Sunday before MLK Day features food, videos and a panel discussion.

If you go: noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 19, at Langston Hughes Performing Arts Institute.
