Introducing Seattle's Child Kids Supper Club
Hundreds of free kids meals, family perks and member discounts. Use as many times as you want. Try Free for a month, then $6.99.
Dining out with the kids can be an adventure. You want to eat out to experience Seattle’s vibrant food scene, but then reality hits: $9.99 for dry chicken nuggets, restaurants that don’t have high chairs, and places you just don’t feel comfortable in with your family. How many among us have just stayed in or decided at a restaurant that French fries = dinner, just this once?
Welcome to Seattle’s Child Kids Supper Club, a monthly membership pass where your kids can eat free or at a discount at some of the area’s best restaurants. Whether it’s free pizza slices, a quick cupcake break or even trying a nicer restaurant as a family, your kids are always welcome.
“We want to help families introduce their kids to restaurant-eating, but without breaking the bank,” says Seattle's Child founder and publisher Ann Bergman. “With our Supper Club, everyone can get a delicious meal, maybe try something new, and no one has to cook or clean up.”
Supper Club co-creator Cris Sierra adds, “Like most parents, we really enjoy eating out as a family, however, with our daughters now ordering their own dishes these family outings have become quite expensive! The Kids Supper Club is about making it easier for families to go out and enjoy a quality meal without feeling stretched."
We are not talking about Happy Meal experiences. A quick perusal of the 100+ offerings reveals a nice variety of local favorites like Pagliacci, Full Tilt, Cupcake Royale and Lunchbox Laboratory.
But you can also take the family out to try the culinary fare of Seattle chefs Tom Douglas, Ethan Stowell, and Renee Erickson. Each restaurant offers dedicated family hours, menus, and free kids meals or perk exclusively for club members. (Some even offer much-deserved perks for parents!)
The membership also offers discounted family experiences and birthdays at places like Sky View
Observatory at Columbia Center, Portal Virtual reality Arcade, Kids Discovery Museum on Bainbridge Island and others.
Most Kids Supper Club restaurants have offers multiple times a week, so you can use them over and over all month long. And the monthly membership fee pretty much pays for itself with one meal out. On those days when cooking just isn’t happening at your house — or when the kids need a quick slice after practice — the Supper Club could be a huge bonus!
When you see the list of participating businesses, you’ll want in for sure. Plus, we are continuously adding new places to give families more opportunities to save. In celebration of our launch, you can get a free, 30-day trial and a $6.99 introductory rate (regular memberships will be $9.99 a month.)
Supper Club is a partnership between Seattle’s Child, the area’s first family-centered magazine and website; and CURIO, developers of the popular Seattle’s Child iPhone app (coming soon to Android).
