Pike Place Market Flower Festival
On May 11-12, celebrate Mom and the arrival of spring at the annual Pike Place Market Flower Festival. Shop for flowers, produce, and specialty products from more than 40 Washington state farmers. In the early morning hours, tents will be set up on the west side of the cobblestone street of Pike Place to showcase the farmers’ abundant bouquets of tulips, daffodils, irises and peonies. 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sat &  Sun. MOHAI Mother’s Day Pop-up Shop

Mother’s Day Saturday Sail on Camano Island
Head to Cama Beach for the annual Mother’s Day Saturday Sail. Arrive early to sign up for free boat rides on a variety of boats (sailing, paddling, rowing, motor), then participate in other fun activities while you wait for your ride (toy boat building, park activities). Volunteer Park Conservatory Spring Plant Sale

Check out a wide selection of beautiful houseplants. Docents will be on hand to answer questions about suitable spaces for the plants, and how to care for them. 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Volunteer Park Conservatory, 1400 E Galer St. Speaking of plant sales, this is a good weekend for those whose favorite kind of retail therapy comes in plastic pots of dirt. Mother’s Day at the Seattle Aquarium
Come celebrate moms of all species at the aquarium.
