Attention, bike riding enthusiasts: While we probably associate Washington State Parks mostly with camping, hiking and beachcombing, some of them also are perfectly suited for bicycling.
And just in time for national observance Saturday of Bike Your Park Day, state parks suggests several places to go and ways to participate. (As with many things this year, some activities are virtual.)
Washington State Parks, in a new blog post, suggests several locations it calls perfect for a two-wheeled adventure. They’ve divided the adventures into trails better suited to mountain or fat-tire bikes and those for a road bike.
Bonus: Saturday, Sept. 26, is a also a State Parks free day!
