Here’s a simple equation; Elementary students + their families + an evening of games and prizes = FUN! Seattle-based nonprofit Zeno is hosting this annual awesome math event on Thursday, Nov. 6, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Rainier Community Center, 4600 38th Ave. S., Seattle. The event formula is to highlight math in new and fun ways for families. Kids and parents will learn new tips and skills together, helping kids gain confidence and boost their enthusiasm for equations. Fun fact; Zeno, a Greek philosopher, was one of the first people to discuss the idea of infinity. Zeno’s Mathfest hopes to prove the theorem that the love of math-powered learning in every person will equate to infinite possibilities in their future.
