Hobby Day Expo is Saturday (Nov. 19) at the Museum of Flight

Meet modelers, game enthusiasts and remote-control plane flyers

Hobbyists can meet like-minded folks and see their work this weekend at Hobby Day Expo.

The Museum of Flight event will feature the NW Scale Modelers, the National Historic Miniature Gaming Society and the Lake Sawyer Hawks Radio Control Flyers Club. They will show what they’ve been up to, play games with the public and share trade secrets.

Hobby Day Expo is engaging for all ages. It takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, and is free with museum admission.

While you’re there, walk through “The Walt Disney Studios and World War II.” This temporary exhibit is an immersive telling of The Walt Disney Studios’ extraordinary involvement in the United States World War II effort. It is here through Feb. 5, 2023.

The museum also has put together an aviation-themed Holiday Gift Guide with aviation and space items, museum merchandise and toys. and is promoting memberships as a holiday gift. They’ll throw in an additional guest pass with each gift membership purchased.
