Family Hiking 101, Lewis Creek Park Visitors Center, Sat 10-3. New to hiking or new to hiking with kids? Learn some tips and tricks from Lewis Creek Park Rangers about trailheads, trail basics and local parks, then take a hike together. $15. Great for ages 7 and older and their families. Take A Kid Mountain Biking Day, Sat 10-3, Duthie Hill Mt. Biking Park. This Free event brings pros and beginners together with a jump show, track challenges, skills clinic and a free bbq! Great way to introduce your kids to this super sport. evergreenmtb.org

 

Fisherman's Fall Festival, Fisherman's Terminal, Sat 11-6. FREE. Our local fishing fleet is celebrated in this annual fun fair with music, hands-on activities, fishing industry-related competitions, awesome fish food (think salmon bake) and more. Proceeds raised go tot eh Seattle Fisherman's Memorial to assist families of fishers lost at sea. fishermansfallfestival.org

 

Issaquah Salmon Days Festival, Sat/Sun 10-6. FREE. The return of the salmon is here and you can see them jumping en masse upstream. Join the celebration complete with music, a carnival, parade (Sat), hands-on activities, hatchery tour, arts and crafts and more. salmondays.org
