Celebrate Halloween on the Hill at this year's Hilloween bash

The always-cool Hilloween is bringing spooky fun to Capitol Hill – and keeping it indoors.

The always-cool Hilloween, also known as Seattle's "modern Halloween carnival," is bringing spooky fun to Capitol Hill – and this year, the fun is staying indoors to avoid downpours!

This year's Hilloween features a costume parade, face painting, trick-or-treating, and a pizza party at Pagliacci's, where kids in costume can get a free slice.

This year, Hilloween is hosted at Seattle Central's Mitchell Activity Center on Halloween proper, October 31. Schedule for the day's activities is below.

12 to 3 pm: Carnival

3:30 to 4 pm: Costume Parade

4 to 7 pm: Trick-or-treating on Broadway

4 to 7 pm:  Haunted Bank Laboratory at 1st Security Bank

5 to 7 pm: Pizza party at Pagliacci's
