Seattle's Short Run Festival is one of the coolest indie comics and arts events in town! This annual free event highlights the work of artists, zinemakers, publishers, and cartoonists doing amazing work.

This year's family-friendly event, which takes place on Halloween, is the fifth annual festival. Short Run brings two hundred artists from around the US to highlight their creative products. There will be comics trick-or-treating for kids, animation on display by Seattle Experimental Animation Team, a massive bake sale, and mask-making. The first fifty people through the door at 11 am will get a free "swag bag."

11 am to 6 pm, Fisher Pavilion, 305 Harrison Street, Seattle, 98109
