Kick off the holiday season with Magic at the Market

Shop, eat and get a head start on gift planning at this family-centric Pike Place Market event.

Thanksgiving might be about turkey, football, and spending time with friends and family, but it also reminds us that those December holidays are right around the corner. Bring the family down to Pike Place Market on Saturday, Nov. 28, to celebrate the unofficial start of the holiday season with Magic in the Market.

This free event is packed full of fun for the whole family, and with all the locally made crafts and gifts available, provides a great opportunity to get a head start on your holiday shopping.

From 1 to 5 pm, you can enjoy organic apple cider or hot cocoa and listen to carolers while your kids decorate gingerbread cookies and pose for a free photo with Santa. After the tree lighting at 5, be sure to pick up a bag of hot donuts for the ride home, making your start to the season truly magical.
