Now this is just adorable.
Pasado’s Safe Haven, the Sultan-based nonprofit and animal sanctuary, is inviting children to become penpals with some of the more than 200 animals that live there.
Organizers say: “The animals at Pasado’s Safe Haven miss having all the visitors around for field trips and educational experiences.”
The Pasado’s Pen Pals program is very simple: Go on to their website and choose an animal to write to.
Letters can be sent to Pasado’s at P.O. Box 171, Sultan, WA 98294. Letter writers are asked to include their first name and age. A letter should always include a return address, and even more so now because of this tidbit: “Once the animals receive their letters, you might just get something in return!”
