Bicycle Weekends on Lake Washington Blvd for 2026

Get ready to roll with the annual Seattle tradition

Get ready to roll! Starting in May, Bicycle Weekends are back on Lake Washington Boulevard in Seattle, giving bikers, walkers, runners, strollers (and more) a chance to enjoy this gorgeous route to Seward Park car-free. On certain weekends through September, a stretch of the boulevard between Seward Park and Mount Baker Park Beach will be closed to all motorized vehicles from 10 a.m. Saturday to 6 p.m. Sunday.

It’s a delightful Seattle tradition, and a great way to stay active, take in lake views, and practice biking basics. Local access will still be allowed for residents, visitors, and deliveries via the nearest cross street, and parking lots near the route remain open.
