At least three candidates for the Seattle School Board, including Vivian Song Maritz, Laura Marie Rivera and Michelle Sarju will be participating in an upcoming online forum at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 28.
City Council candidates Nikkita Oliver and Teresa Mosqueda will also participate in the forum. Families and community members are invited to attend to learn more about each candidate’s plans for policies affecting children and families in Seattle.
More candidates may be added to the lineup before the event date. Closed captioning will be available.
The event is being sponsored by Black Education Strategy Roundtable (BESR), the League of Education Voters (LEV), School’s Out Washington (SOWA), SESEC, and Youth Development Executives of King County (YDEKC)
