Ballard burger joint Li'l Woody's is offering free burgers this week for SPS teachers. Teachers can show SPS ID and receive a free burger for every day that the teacher strike continues.

Multiple Seattle eateries, including Cupcake Royale and Full Tilt, have rolled out big discounts for teachers and even provided free treats at picket lines (Full Tilt).

In other strike news, local high schoolers staged a read-in on UW campus to show solidarity with their public school teachers.
